Joyful Hearts Summer Camp is for individuals with developmental disabilities, providing a quality 5 night summer camp experience in a safe, Christian environment.
Campers take part in the usual summer camp activities, such as swimming, canoeing, archery, games, arts & crafts, worship, Bible studies, campfire, faith building activities, and many more, but each activity is modified based on the camper’s needs. There are also special activities each day, all of which help make this a truly unique and memorable experience!
- Monday – Horses
- Tuesday – Bingo
- Wednesday – Talent Show
- Thursday – Wagon Ride and Dance (Bring a nice outfit for the dance!)
Our staff and volunteers are trained in working with campers with a variety of disabilities and committed to ensuring each camper receives personal guidance and assistance as needed. We strive to maintain a one-to-one, or in some cases, two-to one ratio of campers to staff/volunteers to ensure each camper has the best possible camp experience.
