"Open for Ministry"
This campaign was started in early 2011 with the intent to share with everyone that the LuWiSoMo facilities are still open and available for camping, retreats, and etc. The letter was sent to many past campers, supporters, and friends of LuWiSoMo. The Camp Board and Development Team compiled a list of the main priorities as we move forward toward the future of the LuWiSoMo outdoor ministry.
Camp LuWiSoMo "2011 and Beyond"
- Elimination of existing debt from capital improvements
- Hiring Executive Camp Director, Fall 2011 Awaiting SWD Board approval, December 2011
- Restart youth camp programming, Summer 2012 Program brochure, November 2011
- Feeding His Flock dining hall, groundbreaking & completion 2012
- Transition to a 501(c)3 that is a Recognized Service Organization (RSO) within the LCMS
