Thanks to two generous grants (one from the SWD LWML), we are completely remodeling the inside of our Chapel.  Changes include leveling the uneven floor, adding a ceiling, insulating the walls and ceiling, heating and cooling the entire building, adding handicapped accessible bathrooms, several meeting rooms, and a balcony.

Your chapel..."A Work in Progress."

Plumbing pipes for handicapped accessible bathrooms.

Plumbers digging trenches for plumbing pipes.

Here's what the chapel looked like after cleanup (no pews).

Phil Homp (Laborers for Christ) and Travis Eggeman tear out the water-damaged "old" to make room for the "new."

This is the back side of our Chapel.  Brakebush Brothers, Inc. volunteered a semi trailer for us to use to store all of our chapel furnishings while it is being remodeled.

The beautiful stained glass windows and rustic wooden beams will both remain part of the "new chapel."  We are undecided about all the pews.  Currently, we have no money in the budget for new chairs which would make our chapel much more flexible for year-round use.

Laborers for Christ are helping with this project and have prepared their trailers for the onset of winter.
